Happy Mother’s Day!!!!!

In the Garden
It will happen. There will be a nice weekend day that you will just want to get into the garden and work and plant and enjoy. It will happen. Yesterday was not it. Today – probably not. But maybe this week. Don’t worry, it’s not too late. We can’t even plant too many things yet in this here part of the world due to risks of frost right up until June. Get your pea, carrot, lettuce seed ready. Grab some broccoli, cabbage, onion transplants and stick all that in the ground first chance you get. It will be great. BTW, did you know most market gardeners plant onions from transplants NOT from sets? It’s cheaper and works just as well. Happy Mother’s Day everyone.

- And much more!
Some updates if you pick-up from Tarpon Springs. The reasoning behind the delivery charge is the 90% of the order’s goes to the grower we need a very low delivery charge to cover costs. It’s not been economic to not charge and has been a loss for the co-op. We want to provide a reasonable service of bringing in our orders to Tarpon Springs If the time is not convenient please contact us as our members cooperate sometimes picking up each others orders:

NEW PICK POINT: DUNNELLON EAST
Amy and Jay Levinson of 3 Rock Farm, have been growers with CCLG for a while now, they are hosting the new pickup point at their farm in East Dunnellon. Their farm is located in the Highlands just off Hwy. 200 in Marion county. Access to their farm is over made up roads so no risk of getting stuck.
