Statesboro Market2Go:  The Market is open!

*"Eating a diet that follows nature’s rhythms is…far from a passing trend; it’s just good sense, and it’s how everyone ate not so long ago—before heart disease, diabetes and obesity managed to wheedle their way into every corner of North America.

The benefits of eating locally grown, seasonal food are many—it’s ultimately cheaper and better for small farmers and your community’s economy, and it’s a great way to keep in step with the natural world. Perhaps more compelling, though, eating seasonally is an especially excellent way to boost nutrition."* borrowed from Mother Earth Living

Enjoy seasonal vegetables and challenge your taste buds and cooking skills! And while you’re at it, enjoy the health benefits of eating an in-season plant-focused diet…place your order this week with Statesboro Market2Go!

Happy New Year!

And Happy Shopping!

Spa City Local Farm Market Co-op:  canceling this week's market due to the storm

Hi all,
I’m unable to find out if the Art church has power. No answer and Entergy said that most of Whittington is still out. The church next door isn’t answering and a member who was driving down Central indicated all businesses appeared closed.
I’ll contact all venders with orders and members who ordered by phone if I can as well as email and hope no one tries to come in without checking first.
Stay safe and warm,
Julie
