Offshore Seafood Co. is a Seafood Market owned by local fisherman specializing in a premium line of the freshest seafood on the Gulf Coast! Nothing preserved or chemical treated. Their fish are harvested domestically on hook & line by local fishermen and brought ashore within 3-4 days of being caught. Welcome to Kent, Kris & Suzanne Sahr!
The Dooryard Supermarket comes on board this week with beautiful roselles from which to make tea. Welcome to Derek Phillips and Aaron Nicely!
Be sure to check the Market closely every week going forward as the veggie variety begins to shift in the direction of FALL. I just heard you all say “Yayyy!” ALSO, look for a huge overage sale on llama beans this week.
WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST CUSTOMERS!
Once you have submitted your order, if in doubt about what you owe, you can always confirm what you have been charged for by checking your account history and viewing your most current invoice. Instructions on how to do that are on our Q&A page under the question entitled Since you don’t provide an invoice with delivery, how do I know what I owe? on the third bullet item. Also, since your vegetables are picked fresh within 24 hours of delivery, they should be lasting for WEEKS in your refrigerator. When you accept delivery, please take a few minutes to inspect your order to protect your vegetables from unnecessary spoilage. Lastly, it is imperative that you understand our policy on Unclaimed Orders found on our Q&A page. When you make a purchase you are agreeing to abide by this policy.

I just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that our software was upgraded over the weekend, and inevitably there may have been some problems.
Before today you may have noticed a few missing images on the website, but this should be resolved by now.
Also, if you use Internet Explorer 9 (IE 9), the ‘Featured Items’ and ’What’s New’ carousels are unfortunately disabled currently because of some internal problems with the software compatibility. Other browers (i.e., Chrome, Firefox) should be unaffected.
None of this should scare anyone, everything is still running smoothly and will continue to do so! Just a heads up if some things look different!
Thanks for reading everyone, and thanks for your support of RCM!
-Your RCM Market Managers
Good Monday Morning everyone,
A few of our wonderful customers have emailed To report trouble when ordering from our market. I wanted to let you know that we are looking into it and will hopefully get everything repaired shortly.
Meanwhile, if you want to go ahead and place your order, please send me your list and I can place your order for you until the problem is resolved.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Sunny skies to shine on us...
If you needed a reminder to shop on your lunch hour, here it is! Skip the stores though and come see us! We have a wide variety of offerings from the most local vendors you can find! Trying to live on a 30 mile meal diet? We are your answer. Shop now til 8 PM tomorrow night! hope you can join us!
Last Thursday our market website was migrated to a new server and some system upgrades were made. There were a few glitches and a major one was the email confirmation configuration. If you placed an order on Friday to Sat morning you probably did not get an email confirmation with your total. You can double check and get your total by going to Your Account and clicking Your Order History. I will have the packing list that shows orders and totals on the table tomorrow at pick up as well.
Some other system glitches were missing images, problems scrolling and general sluggishness when viewing the site using Microsoft Internet Explorer 9. Our developer has fixed all these problems and they should no longer be an issue. If you notice anything else please let me know.
Thank you so much for your support!
J.B. has some of the prettiest Bibb he’s ever grown-only $2.00 this week.
Reminder! Ordering is still open, CLICK HERE, until Monday at 5pm for Wednesday’s pickup! After 5 we update to start the next order cycle for Saturday!
Work in the Fields
Farmers are still busy finishing harvesting carrots, kale, and other frost tolerant crops. Minding the storage of potatoes, squash, etc to supply to markets for the winter. Preparing fields for next spring by lightly working or plowing the land or making raised beds to help get planting done in our short spring. Finally finishing a myriad of projects that abandoned during the chaos of summer weeding and harvests. Planning for next year!

We’ve got pecans! Courtesy of Hardin Farms, you can get them whole or cracked! It’s been a long wait since we last had pecans! Laughing Stock Farms has also uploaded their Mei Qing Choi (can’t pronounce it, but it’s a delicious cousin of Bok Choy) and pepper sauce! And ABC Nature Greenhouse and Herb Farm has huckleberry plants and fig trees!
