Step by Step Instructions
- Cut the bacon into small pieces and cook it until it is crispy.
- Blanch the broccoli in a pot of salted water, boiling it for about 3 minutes, draining the water and rinsing it off.
- Combine the mayonnaise, vinegar, onion, sugar and raisins in a separate bowl. Add the broccoli and toss them together until the broccoli is well coated. Refrigerate the salad for 1 hour.
- Add the bacon pieces and sunflower kernels just before serving.
