Cabbage Roll Stew

Ingredients
29 ounces Diced tomatoes
14 1/2 ounces Beef broth
8 ounces Tomato sauce
1 tablespoon Cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1 head Cabbage (cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces)
1 1/2 pounds Ground beef
1/2 pound Bulk sausage
1 Onion (chopped)
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
Rice for serving (optional)
Parsley for serving (chopped, optional)

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Mix the tomatoes, beef broth, tomato sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper together well. Set the mixture aside.
  2. Place the cabbage into a 5 or 6 quart slow cooker.
  3. Cook & crumble the ground beef and sausage along with the onion and garlic in a skillet over medium-high heat for 7 to 9 minutes, then drain.
  4. Spoon the meat mixture over the cabbage in the slow cooker, then top them with the tomato mixture. Cook covered for 5 to 6 hours.
  5. Serve in a bowl (with rice if desired), and sprinkle with chopped parsley (if desired)
