Pressure-Cooker Raisin Nut Oatmeal

3 cups Vanilla almond milk
3/4 cup Steel cut oats
3/4 cup raisins
3 tablespoons Brown sugar
4 1/2 teaspoons Butter
3/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 large Apple (peeled & chopped)
1/4 cup Pecans (chopped)
Honey (for serving, if desired)
Step by Step Instructions
- Add the almond milk, oats, raisins, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt to a 6 quart electric pressure cooker. Lock the lid and close the pressure release valve. Set on high for 5 minutes, and let the pressure release naturally. Press cancel.
- Stir in the apple and let the mixture stand for 10 minutes to thicken.
- Spoon the oatmeal into bowls and sprinkle with pecans and, if desired, honey.
