Pinto Refried Beans

<p>A really easy and quick recipe that you can use for a side dish refried bean with the topping of your choice as well as filling for tacos, enchilada, burritos and tortillas. Normally used with Pinto Bean Flour, you can also use Red Bean Flour for a buttery taste.</p>

Serves: 4 Cups
Vegan!

Ingredients
3/4 Cup Pinto Bean Flour (or Red Bean Flour)
2-1/2 Cup Water
1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
1/4 Tsp Cumin
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Salsa

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Boil Water in a sauce pan on medium heat. Mix all of the dry ingredients and whisk into the water. Stir 1 minute over medium heat and then reduce to medium-low, cover and cook for 5-7 more minutes stirring occasionally. The mixture should thicken. If not, heat a little longer but make sure the bottom of it doesn't stick to the pan. Stir in salsa. Makes about 4 cups. Use as a side dish or filling for bean burritos. meatless tacos or bean enchilidas. Use Red Bean Flour for fillings also, especially for enchilidas.
