Beef Kofta Kebabs

Ingredients
4 cloves Garlic
1/2 cup Sweet onion (diced)
1/2 cup Fresh parsley leaves
2 large Leaves fresh mint
1 pound Ground beef
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Ground coriander
1 teaspoon Ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon Ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
pinch Cayenne pepper
Tzatziki sauce (for serving)
Bread (for serving) (preferably naan bread)
Additional chopped parsley (for serving)

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Put the garlic, onion, parsley, and mint in a food processor and blend until pureed. Pour this puree into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the ground beef, salt, coriander, cumin, ginger, black pepper, and cayenne to the bowl. Mix thoroughly with your hands. Scoop the mixture into 18 balls using a tablespoon sized scoop if possible.
  3. Thread the meatballs onto metal skewers, then place the skewers on a baking sheet (flatten the meatballs slightly). Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. When ready to cook, preheat an outdoor grill to medium high heat and oil the grates. Place the kebabs on the grates and close the lid. Cook for about 4 minutes on each side. Serve on bread with tzatziki sauce and additional chopped parsley.
