Hot Strawberry Cider

Ingredients
8 cups Apple cider or apple juice
10 ounces Sliced strawberries
1 4 inch Cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon Whole cloves
Strawberry slices
Apple slices
Cinnamon stick (for garnish)

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Combine the juice/cider, strawberries, the 4 inch stick of cinnamon, and the cloves in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.
  2. Cover the saucepan and let simmer for 10 minutes, then strain the cider through a cheesecloth lined sieve.
  3. Pour the cider into cups and garnish with fruit slices and/or cinnamon sticks.
