Strawberry Waffles

Serves: 10 waffles
Vegetarian!

Ingredients
2 cups All-purpose flour
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Salt
4 teaspoons Baking powder
2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups Milk
1/3 cup Butter (melted)
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/3 cup Strawberries
Topping suggestions include:
Whipped cream
Powdered sugar
Sliced strawberries
Strawberry sauce
Ice cream

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your waffle iron. Whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract together.
  2. Stir in the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar until just combined, then gently stir in the strawberries.
  3. Spray the waffle iron with cooking spray and add an amount of batter that is appropriate to make waffles depending upon the size of the waffle iron and cook to desired texture. Repeat until the batter is used up.
  4. Serve the waffles warm and topped as desired.
