Ingredients
1 loaf baguette bread from Sugar Magnolia
1 & 1/2 pounds pungent soft cheese, like goat cheese or brie
1/2 cup local honey

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat broiler to high.
  2. Slice the bread in half horizontally and cut into 4- to 6-inch lengths. Top each with a generous slice or portion of cheese.
  3. Broil bread in center of oven until the edges of the bread have browned and the cheese is bubbling, about 5 minutes. Watch carefully so the cheese doesn't burn.
  4. Remove from the oven and place a couple of toasts on individual serving plates.
  5. Drizzle each serving with a tablespoon or two of honey. Serve immediately.
