Faith's Slow Cooked Pulled Pork

From Monroe Farm Market

A friend of mine cooked the best fresh ham roast I’ve ever eaten. It’s so simple, and you won’t believe how delicious it is.

Serves: Depends on the size of the roast

Ingredients
1 3-5 lbs Fresh Ham Roast (thawed in fridge overnight)
2 Red Bell Peppers, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
.5 - 1 tsp paprika
To Taste Salt and Pepper
5 whole cloves garlic

Step by Step Instructions
 1. Put the thawed roast in a crock pot. Add onions, peppers, spices and garlic. Turn on low and cook for 8 hrs. Couldn't be easier. If you have a crock pot that doesn't seal the lid, you might want to add about 1/2 cup of water. Once the meat is cooked and tender, shred, in the crock pot with two forks for a wonderful pulled pork for burritos, tacos, salad. We enjoyed white rice and northern beans with spinach with this pork. Delicious.
