Sliced Fried Okra

1 lb. cut clemson spineless okra in 1/2 inch slices
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Step by Step Instructions
- Cook okra in 1 cup water and 1/2 tsp. salt about 10 minutes
- mix cornmeal, salt, and pepper.
- Toss okra cornmeal mixture until okra is completely coated.
