EASY STRAWBERRY COBBLER 6-28-2013

<p>Pokey Creek Farm has strawberries this week on the market for sale!</p>

Serves: 4-6 adults or 3 teenagers
Vegetarian!

Ingredients
4 cups strawberries, slices
1 cup flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup cubed butter

Step by Step Instructions
  1. 1.Pre-heat oven to 375F 2.Spread strawberries evenly in 8 or 9 inch. pan 3. Mix flour, baking soda and sugar 4. Add egg and mix until crumbly and the dry ingredients are completely incorporated 5. Spread over berries 6. Dot with Butter 7. Bake until bubbling (about 50 min.) 8. Top with whip cream or vanilla ice-cream * I like to add a smidge or two of allspice or cinnamon to the crust mixture. * Sticky Fingers Farm has a berry vegan ice-cream that is amazing and would be so good on this cobbler. (The co-op carries their ice-cream)
