MILK KEFIRIS COMING MARKET HELP AND VOLUNTEERS!

Look for milk kefir being on the Market next week!

We are also working on adding natural personal and cleaning products so stay tuned for that! :^)

Remember: market hours are only 4:30 to 6:30 – producers are delivering up to 4:30 and I close the doors at 6:30. I will try to send out Tuesday market reminders early in the day but I might not always get to it, so don’t rely solely on me. Thanks for your kind attention to this matter :-) Please also remember to bring your bags!

We hope you got a chance to look at the new shelving in the Country Store. It’s just the first of many exciting improvements to come!

CSA Farmers Market:  Tortilla Chip Surprise

Thank you to John for the added treat to the customers bags, they got extra chips to try!

John Simmons gets excited about each new flavor of tortilla chips he makes. He often wants to share his excitement so he shares bags of chips randomly to current customers or to people who have never tried his chips.
During this last order cycle all those that placed an order for his chips received two free bags of chips, flavors that they probably have not tried yet. I would sure love to see the smile on their face when they realize the bonus.
John gave me some chips to share with Jim and Pat Graham. When I was at their farm serious faced Jim, tired from a long day of working while tending to a minor wound was presented with John’s Chips; a big smile came across his face.
Maybe in your next order John will be generous and give a free bag of chips.

Until Next Time

Champaign, OH:  Last Call

The last call, the last 10 minutes of this week’s market, the last chance to make your week stress free!!

Go on…make it happen!!

New Field Farm's Online Market:  still summer, but...

Greetings,

Although we’re having another round of summer we’re adding some fall crops to the mix this week – the two kales, red cabbage, and leeks. Beans are making another brief appearance.

We’re into the third planting of cucumbers and hopefully they’ll be ready by Friday.

The hot weather quickly ripened up all the broccoli in the first planting so I had to cut it all for farmer’s market. It goes by so fast in hot weather. We have two more plantings to come and hopefully some sideshoot production.

The Ailsa Craig and Tropea onions have grown beautifully this year and are still being pulled fresh from the field. The Copras are being brought into the barn to cure little by little as their tops fall over which indicates that it’s time to harvest them. They’ve also grown better than I’ve ever seen. Hopefully, they’ll store well, too.

Thank you for your orders and if you have any questions or comments please let me know.

Enjoy,
Tim
