State is cracking down in some areas and I will have to charge sales tax. I also need to know if I should go to online payment.
It will be one or the other so majority will rule. If you would like to be able to pay with credit card at time of your order or continue with correct amount of cash at pick up. Please email me your preference
Sales tax will add 7% and online payment will be an additional 3%. I will make changes for the first Tuesday in June.

Champaign, OH:  Holiday Road

I found out long ago
It’s a long way down the holiday road…
(Lindsey Buckingham – Holiday Road)

Well, the holiday weekend is just about here!! We are on the countdown to good times, good weather, and good friends!!

I hope that everyone has amazing plans for the holiday!! I hit the Holiday Road, tomorrow, to a fun and rockin’ music festival!! Nothing but sunshine, non-stop tunes and bands, and a ton of my friends!! Let the good times roll!

Enjoy whatever your plans may be and if you think about it…give us a little order while you are soaking up the sun!!

For all who order, I will be drawing a customer name and that customer will win the soundtrack that has started to weave itself through the theme of my Weblogs, each time!! What a fun way to start your summer playlist!! A cd full of the tunes and lyrics that I use!! But, you need to order to be entered into the drawing!!! The winner will be announced next Wednesday!!

Also…just a note to introduce our new vendor!! She is a gluten-free baker with an all natural skin-care line that she makes!!! Live Simply, Live Richly…check her out!

The market is now open…get your orders in before the weekend of fun begins!!

Peace and Love,
Cosmic Pam

Dawson Local Harvest:  The DAWSON LOCAL HARVEST

The Dawson Local Harvest Update for May 25, 2014

HEY EVERYONE! We are getting close to having a whole lot of wonderful Produce available. First of all we have a new grower, BRADLEY’S FARM, which is in the process of getting their CNG certification. They’ll be adding several new items to the Produce section soon. Secondly, LEILANI’S GARDENS has picked their first ripe Tomatoes of the season. At the moment quantities are limited, so please be respectful of others and don’t order all of them for yourself (I know it’s tempting!). FIVE HENS FARMS is also expanding their offerings of fresh pork (I’m not vegetarian and the Bacon is sounding quite good to me!). Be sure to check out “the Market” for the new products for this week.

The Harvest is adding a new vendor, Barbara Roberts with HEALING HANDS, author of a great “natural foods” Cookbook called “Alive Health: Healthy Eating On The Run”. This is a cookbook that’s perfect for the all-natural locavoe with lots of vegetarian and vegan selections that actually taste good, so I asked her to list with the Harvest. The cookbook has wonderful recipes for some of the unusual and esoteric vegetables that are offered on this site. We’re delighted to start off our Recipes section with her scrumptious “Marinated Kale” recipe!

REMEMBER! You can order until Tuesday night at 8pm. Pick up your order at Leilani’s Gardens Friday afternoons from 4 to 7pm.

You’ll find the DAWSON LOCAL HARVEST at http://dawsonville.locallygrown.net

We thank you for your interest and support of our efforts to bring you the healthiest, the freshest and the most delicious locally-produced foods possible!
